En las estribaciones del Parque Natural de la Sierra de Cazorla y sobre el embalse del río Guadalimar se sitúa ésta antigua casa familiar compuesta por dos edificaciones, ambas con maravillosas vistas sobre el valle y el entorno de enorme valor natural. El proyecto consistió en la restauración del conjunto de los espacios exteriores, cumpliendo un programa funcional en el que se diseñaron y construyeron porches, pérgolas y terrazas, todo ello con un diseño elegante, basado en cuadrículas de adoquín encintadas con piedra de ‘calatorao’ generando así una geometría que favorece la fuga de la vista hacia el horizonte y las vistas. En el entorno, se trabaja con amplios espacios verdes, arbustos autóctonos y grandes nogales que marcan el ritmo de las estaciones. La era, la huerta restaurada y los olivares que rodean el proyecto nos recuerdan el origen agrícola de la finca que no se ha querido perder.

In the foothills of the Sierra de Cazorla Natural Park and on the Guadalimar river reservoir is located this old family house consisting of two buildings, both with wonderful views over the valley and the environment of enormous natural value. The project consisted in the restoration of the exterior spaces, fulfilling a functional program in which porches, pergolas and terraces were designed and built, all with an elegant design, based on cobblestone squares taped with ‘calatorao’ stone, generating thus a geometry that favors the flight of sight towards the horizon and views. Surroundings were designed with wide green spaces, native bushes and large walnut trees that set the rhythm of the seasons. The era, the restored orchard and the olive groves that surround the project remind us of the agricultural origin of the farm that has not been lost.
