El jardín se organiza en dos alturas que prolongan la vida de la casa hacia el exterior. En el nivel superior, frente al porche, una pradera enmarca un paisaje de tonalidades verdes y frescas. La vegetación, de carácter casi atlántico, se compone de hakonechloas, bojes, pittosporums y arces japoneses que envuelven el espacio con textura y ligereza. La sombra, el movimiento de las hojas y la densidad del follaje crean un pequeño refugio verde que acompaña la estancia del porche y aporta frescor durante los meses cálidos.
Desde allí, una escalinata conduce al nivel inferior, donde el carácter del jardín cambia. El pavimento sustituye al césped y la vegetación se vuelve más mediterránea, más cercana a la piedra y al sol. En este espacio se dispone una zona de reunión alrededor del fuego, con bancos de madera de gran formato y vegetación aromática que desprende perfume al caer la tarde.
El conjunto encuentra su equilibrio en la transición entre ambos niveles. Arriba, el verde envolvente ofrece intimidad y frescor; abajo, la luz y los aromas mediterráneos invitan a permanecer. La suma de ambos define un jardín sereno y cercano, pensado para acompañar la vida diaria y disfrutar del paso de las estaciones con sencillez.

The garden unfolds on two levels that extend the life of the house into the landscape. On the upper terrace, in front of the porch, a wide lawn frames a scene of fresh greens and soft textures. The planting, with a slightly Atlantic character, combines hakonechloa, boxwood, pittosporum and Japanese maples to create a sense of depth and calm. Shade, movement and foliage density form a small green refuge that embraces the porch and brings coolness during the warmer months.
From there, a staircase descends to the lower level, where the atmosphere changes. The paving replaces the grass and the vegetation becomes more Mediterranean, closer to the stone and to the sun. Here, a seating area is arranged around a fire bowl, with large timber benches and aromatic shrubs that release their fragrance in the evening air.
The balance of the garden lies in the transition between these two worlds. Above, greenery and shade provide intimacy and freshness; below, light and scent invite conversation and rest. Together they define a quiet, familiar garden —a place that follows the rhythm of everyday life and evolves gently with the passing of the seasons.
